1st 1.2.1 communicate  collaborate Teacher prepares the presentation and students can help choose
2nd 1.2.2 Cultural Research weather in those countries for that day
3rd 1.2.2 Develop cultural understanding connecting with another school Skype or connect with another virtual class
4th 1.2 collaborate Historical fiction and use the images, primary sources to introduce or present the topic
5th– 6th 1.3 investigate and think critically Create an illustrated online timeline using video project

I teach technology in an inquiry based high school in Redmond, WA. I am fortunate to be part of a STEAM high school and to collaborate on many PBL projects. I have also taught technology integration in middle schools through pre-service teachers. I am currently teaching 5 sections of AP Computer Science Principles and I mentor a girl's outreach program for Computer Programming. As an Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, I also have the privilege to travel and deliver trainings for i2E, NCCE and the Minecraft Education team. I have worked with #CorelaborateWA twitter teacher leaders and I am the 2017 WA PBS Digital Innovator. So many opportunities to meet and collaborate!
